CIARE PW 465 ND is the new 18" professional woofer with neodymium magnet which uses the highest technologies requested by this very exigent segment of market.
The great interleaved sandwich 4" voice coil with fiberglass former is immersed in a magnet assembly unit with optimized ventilation, in order to reduce to a minimum the harmful effect of Power Compression. The double spider made of NOMEX is raised by magnetic unit in order to facilitate the cooling of the voice coil and the movement of the mobile part. The dustprotective inverted cover offers a larger contact surface in the bonding area, advantaging the structure hardiness and the cone uniformity. The cone is the result of the reliable experience of CIARE in cellulose pulp membranes production and its surface is weather protected for outdoor use. In the magnetic core there is a demodulating ring for a drastic elimination of distortions and for more linear frequency response.
PW 465 ND is an ideal component for the professional subwoofer realization with very high in-use performance and a modest weight. It is recommended to drive by amplifiers of at least 1200 W RMS/8 ohm, with the use of a digital loudspeaker controller with limiter threshold set for the employed amplifier.
